Missing VLANs

ExtremeCloud‌ IQ detects VLANs that are configured on the APs, but missing on the upstream switch, even if the upstream switch is not managed. All AP3XXX and AP5XXX models support this feature.

To trigger a Missing VLANs anomaly, clients must attempt to connect to the SSID.

Sometimes VLANs are intentionally missing, for example: black hole VLANs. You can manually exclude them.

  • A Go to Device link, if the switch is managed by XIQ
