Use this task to create a custom application definition, including an application group, optional descriptions, and application detection rules.

Go to Manage > Applications, and then select MANAGE APPLICATIONS.
Select ADD CUSTOM.
Enter an Application Name for the new application.
Enter an optional Description.
Select an existing Application Category from the drop-down list, or select to create a new one.
1. If you add a new group, enter a Group Name.
2. Select Save.
Select and configure the Application Detection Rules.
To delete a rule, select the corresponding check box, and then select .
Select SAVE.
