Configure Individual Ports

Use this task to configure or modify settings for individual ports.

  1. Go to Configure > Common Objects > Policy > Switch Template
  2. Select an existing template, and then select Edit, or select Add and configure a new template.
  3. From the Configuration menu, select Port Configuration or Port/VLAN Configuration.
  4. For Port Name & Usage and VLAN, see Configure Port Details.
  5. For User Authentication, see Configure User Authentication.

    The User Authentication tab is part of the taskflow for older Dell and SR-based devices.

  6. For QoS, see Configure QoS Settings.
  7. For Transmission Settings, see Configure Port Transmission Settings.
  8. For STP, see Configure STP Settings.
  9. For Storm Control, see Configure Storm Control.
  10. For PSE, see Configure PSE Settings.
  11. Review the settings on the Summary tab, and then select SAVE

Continue configuring the switch template.
