Routing

Select the host name of a switch from the Devices table, and then go to Monitor > Monitoring > Routing. The Device Details panel displays the following information:

The selected switch must be assigned a network policy.

• An interactive timeline graph shows the number of each route type:
  • Direct Routes
  • Static Routes
  • OSPF Routes
  • Total Routes

  To customize the time period for the graph, use the Time Range controls above the timeline, or drag inside the timeline. The chart lines are interactive—hover over a line to see more data. To show or hide a line on the graph, select the corresponding label at the top of the graph.

  The X axis represents the poll time interval.

  The Y axis represents the total number of routes and resizes, based on the chosen routes.

• Within the IPv4 Routing Table section, the destination subnetwork, next hop, VLAN Name, VLAN ID, Route Origin, Status, Metric, Route Age, Route Type Priority, and Routing Instance information are all listed. You can filter by the Route Origin and Status. Select , and then select a filtering option from the menu.
  

  Note

  • Up to 100 IPv4 routes are visible within the table. For additional visibility, use an SSH proxy.
  • Switch Engine software version 32.6.2.68 or newer is required.
