Clients

Select the host name of an AP or a switch from the Devices table, and then go to Monitor > Monitoring > Clients. The Device Details panel displays the following information:

• An interactive timeline graph shows the number of clients connected to the current device, for the specified time frame. By default, the data capture time frame is 24 hours.

  You can select any point along the timeline in the graphic to display details only for connected clients at that precise time. To customize the time period for graphs, use the Time Range controls above the timeline, or drag inside the timeline. The chart lines are interactive—hover over a line to see more data.

• The Total Clients within selected time range widgets displays the number of clients.
• The Clients with poor health widget displays the number of clients.
• A table lists the following details about the clients that are connected during the specified time range:
  • Type of client (wired, wireless, Thread, undetermined)
  • OS type
  • Connection status
  • Health Status
  • Host name
  • Alias
  • IPv4
  • IPv6
  • Client MAC address
  • Connected port name
  • User name
  • VLAN to which client is connected
  • Client IP address
  • SSID
  • RSSI
  • SNR

  You can filter by the Current Connection Status, Connection Type, and by OS Type. Select , and then select the filtering options. You can also use the Search field to customize your view.
